PRIMARY MATH

A solid foundation in primary school math

Primary school is the critical period when a child's relationship with math is formed. Arf does not drill the four operations by rote; through concrete examples and the right questions, it lets the student reach their own understanding. What is more, it works by voice a student can have a lesson even before they can write.

Primary school students (grades 1-4) and their parents

Meaning first, speed later

A student who understands multiplication as repeated addition can reproduce the answer even after forgetting the table. Arf builds understanding first.

It removes the writing barrier

Even a student who has not yet fully learned to read and write can express their most complex idea by speaking.

  • Voice-based, dialogue-driven learning
  • Building number sense through concrete examples
  • No negative reaction to mistakes, only gentle guidance

Endless patience

Arf explains the same concept over and over, with the same warmth every time. The student gets to feel the joy of "I figured it out myself!"

A love of math

In the early years, curiosity takes root instead of fear.

When the four operations are solid, everything built on top gets easier.

Frequently asked questions

My student can't read or write yet can they use it?

Yes. Askarf works entirely by voice. A student who cannot yet read or write can simply tap their profile picture and have a lesson by talking.

Does it make them memorize the times tables?

It first teaches what multiplication means (repeated addition) and the patterns in the table. Fluency comes naturally on top of understanding.
